Friday 56

*Grab a book, any book.
*Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader
(If you have to improvise, that’s ok.)
*Find any sentence, (or few, just don’t spoil it)
*Post it.
*Add your (url) post below in Linky. Add the post url, not your blog url.
*It’s that simple.

The Queen of Nothing

So I’m about 100 pages through The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black and I’m not sure how I’m feeling about it yet. I have enjoyed what I’ve read, but I’m a third of the way through and I feel like not much has happened yet. This could definitely all change when more of the action scenes start kicking in (and the point I’m at, they’re just about to). I’m really hoping this is a satisfying conclusion and I’m kind of anxious to keep reading just in case it ends in a way I really don’t want it to, which is why I’m reading it so slowly. I wish I had more thoughts on this but right now I don’t feel any particular way about it!

What are you all reading this Friday evening? What are your weekend reading plans?

    1. Since I posted this last night and continued reading, it’s gotten a lot more interesting and I’m having a lot of fun with it now. I just wish it got straight to the good bits quicker! I only have 100 pages left now though, so I’ll see how I feel at the end.

Ooh! I love Brandon Sanderson. I’ve only read his fantasy books so far though. How are you finding Starsight?
